Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, eh? What’s he all about?

That thought popped into my head as I walked home past a bramble bush.

‘Hmm…’ I thought, and scuttled home to get a container.

Not having picked blackberries since I was about 10, I felt faintly ridiculous, as

though I was one of those people picking cigarette ends up off the road.

I know there are some brave souls who cook whole meals with foraged food but I

thought one ingredient was enough to start with.

I got home with a head full of cookery ideas and have now filled my freezer with

fruit while I consider what to cook.

I’m planning to get out the proverbial apron.

All I need to do now is find something I can make out of a Tupperware dish of

blackberries… any ideas?
